Do you have asthma? Would you like to participate in current research with the American Lung Association?
The American Lung Association is proud to announce that we have opened an Asthma Clinical Research Center (ACRC) at the University of Arizona. The ACRC is the nation’s largest not-for-profit network of clinical research centers dedicated to asthma treatment research, attracting some of the best asthma investigators worldwide.
The Asthma Clinical Research Centers conduct large clinical trials that will have a direct impact on patient care and asthma treatment. The Network consists of 18 asthma clinical research centers throughout the country and a Data Coordinating Center managed by a team at Johns Hopkins University.
The ACRC at the University of Arizona is currently looking for persons with asthma who may be interested in participating in research studies. If you would like to learn more about these studies, please click the links below or contact the ACRC’s Clinical Research Coordinator Monica Vasquez at (520) 626-3907.

Importantly,we are also using it to improve the chances of not developing lung cancer, heart disease, emphysema, or the numerous other health risks that come with smoking.
