Asthma -- The shocking facts will take your breath away!
More than 22 million people in the U.S. have asthma
Asthma causes 12.8 million lost school days each year.
The annual economic cost of asthma tops $19 billion dollars!
Doctors still don’t know how you develop asthma. But they do know that once you have it, you’re constantly managing symptoms and looking out for anything that could threaten an attack.
What’s more, if you’re not an asthma sufferer, it’s very likely that someone you know – a family member, neighbor, friend or co-worker – has asthma. They know that even something as simple as a cold or as cute as a kitten can trigger a dangerous episode.
