Chantix's approach versus the antabuse aversion approach
It seems that Pfizer's approach with Chantix / Chamtix for a quit smoking drug /medicine is asking for problems from the start. The ideal is to modify the brain's pleasure sensors not to feel the effects of smoking /nicotine. I am not a Doctor , but this has t open a door to all sorts of unknown mental psychological reactions. Some good some bad. This has to be an unpredictable area of the human mind. Antabuse also known as Disulfiram.
I am still looking for a drug that would behave like antabuse does for alcohol. This approach merely causing some unpleasant reactions in the stomach /digestive regions ,not mental areas. The end result result is what really matters.
